On November 11, 2019, Hong Kong citizens launched the Twilight Campaign, a city-wide strike by students, workers, and shop owners. One of the key conflict zones is the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where riot police attempted to lay siege on students petitioning in the campus. Jason Kahei Wong visited the University during the strike. This file consists of seven photographs he took in his trip, six video recordings and transcripts of oral history interviews he conducted with students, his personal notepad, draft essays, and the published essay “Sleep walking in a mountain city”, which reported on the plight, demands, and needs of the students.
File consists of records related to Shiyang Sun’s sociolinguistic research project, titled "Understanding Emotions in Intercultural Healthcare Communications: Mandarin Adjective Intensifiers in North America", conducted during her undergraduate studies in Winter 2023. Under the supervision of Professor Naomi Nagy, this project fulfilled requirements for Sun’s undergraduate coursework. Sun presented her findings at Change and Variation in Canada 12 (CVC 12) Workshop on June 4, 2023.
Records include 18 email messages, a preliminary research design, a USB flash drive containing 7 interview recordings conducted by Sun, a coding schema, a submitted abstract, a final conference paper, and two photographs documenting Sun’s participation at the conferences. All materials are digital except for the handwritten research design document and the USB.

(2020, Annick Press). Other records included are photographs (mostly black-and-white), dried botanical samples collected from all over the world, and handmade paper samples that were collected as part of her travels and ultimately incorporated into her collages.
Records also include personal correspondence, including letters she received and saved from her youth through adulthood, starting in 1992. Four personal journals are also included. Finally, the fonds consists of records generated in 2022 from her participation in “The Big One”, a yearlong creative writing workshop at Firefly Creative Writing, which represents her first foray into adult-focused fiction and poetry. She has since returned to children’s writing and will be publishing a fourth book in spring of 2026.
Records are organized into 7 series: Collages, Personal correspondence, Creative writing, Photographs, Journals, Botanical samples, and Handmade paper.
