In 2016, Ankomah joined her high school photography club where she would take of various types of photographs as part of weekly activities in order to improve her photography skills. One of the activities included taking 10 x 15 cm and 13 x 18 cm black & white and coloured portrait print photographs of friends and family. Ankomah would continue to participate in the club until 2020 when she graduated from A.Y Jackson Secondary School. After graduation Ankomah would continue to take portrait photographs of her friends and family to create a collection as a personal hobby.

This series consists of 10 x 15 cm and 13 x 18 cm b&w and col. print portrait photographs taken by Ankomah of family and friends for photography club and her own personal collection.

This series consists of personal and creative photographic projects including digital and film photographs taken between 2012 and 2025. The photographs document everyday life, travel, urban explorations, nature, friends, family and artistic experimentation. The projects are organized by theme, year and location. Some photographs include accompanying textual documentation such as project statements or exhibition notes.

As part of her high school photography activities and for her own personal collection Ankomah would take photographs of friends from high school and university friends beginning in 2016.
