This file contains photographs taken by David Slipetz during travel and temporary residence in Singapore and Malaysia between the summers of 2012 to 2016. The images document urban landscapes, architectural details, everyday street scenes, natural environments and candid portraits of daily life. This file consists of photographs taken during a summer archaeological excavation in Italy in 2018. Photos include scenes from Rome, Bari, Positano, the Amalfi Coast and Gravina in Puglia where the expedition took place. The collection explores archaeological themes of antiquity, contemporary life, architectural ruins, museum interiors, street markets. There are photographs of excavated skeletons in situ for which access has been restricted unless requested.
The file also contains 14 black and white photographs which were developed and printed by David upon his return home.
