File consists of born-digital records generated from participation in “The Big One”, a yearlong creative writing workshop at Firefly Creative Writing in Toronto, Ontario, from Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2022. This course was the creator's first foray into writing fiction and poetry for adults, and includes poems, song lyrics, responses to writing prompts, short story fragments and novel fragments. Subject matter ranges widely from the slowness of island life and the nature of relationships to exotic species and monocultures.
