Fonds consists mainly of records documenting Victoria Kwok’s professional life as a food writer and researcher. Education records include coursework, notes, transcripts, photographs and diplomas. Her professional records are divided into four series, which include research notes, manuscripts, correspondence, photographs and interviews. As part of her research, she is also a keen collector of culinary ephemera, which include menus and advertisements. They are included in the Reference series.

Series documents the development of her publishing project. “A History of Cha Chaan Teng” was written through a series of interviews. The series includes correspondence with publishers, interviews, notebooks, drafts, proofs and reviews of the books.
